And what's cool is since there's not as many women in the world of sports . Uh , it is a tighter like knit community than what you would think . So , thanks to social media , I've been able to meet a lot of incredible girls that kind of have become part of my support system .
I I it's going to take everybody rowing the boat together to really create the traction that we need to roll that , roll that boat and get it moving . So , um for us , it's building stronger , healthier and more inclusive communities through sports . Whether that's with focus on the military de I stem education , financial literacy , mental health , all of the issues , issues that we face in our communities and they're different for every community , right ?
And for me , that's really the story of my life . Athletics has always been something that can bring people together all the way up till , you know , I'm in my forties now and up until a little earlier this year , I'm still playing basketball , um , and a little back injury . So hopefully I'll get back out on the court next year sometime .
And for me , sports is the tool to do that . It's about literally creating stronger , healthier and more inclusive communities using sports as the tool . If that makes sense .
I kicked home , I kicked a home run in that game and the third day of school , I was the first one picked . So , so it's , it's fascinating right , how sports , athletics , how it really brings people together . And for me , that's really the story of my life .
